“I love taking care of my rental house and making home improvements, but I know I should be using that money to save for a home of my own.”

Even though she currently rents the home she lives in, Sarah is still responsible for the cost of upkeep and repairs. And while she enjoys taking care of her home and takes great pride in the improvements she has made, she knows she should be using this money to save for a home of her own. In addition to learning how to reduce debt and build savings for a new home, Sarah is also hoping the Savings Race will help her learn to manage her money better so that she can “pay it forward” to others. She hopes to lead by example so that others can also achieve the American Dream.
