Wright-Patt will again be hosting Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University (FPU) as part of Savings Race 3. Dave Ramsey, a personal money management expert, is the host of a nationally syndicated radio talk show and a New York Times best-selling author. His FPU is a life-changing program that teaches you how to make the right decisions with your money. You’ll be empowered with the practical skills and confidence needed to achieve your financial goals and experience true financial peace.

More than half a million families have attended FPU. The average family pays off $5,300 in debt and saves $2,700 in the first 91 days of FPU and is completely out of debt, except for their mortgage, in 18-24 months.

Financial Peace University Curriculum
FPU is a 14 week course, which includes a “refresher” course after a break for the holidays. For a listing and description of the classes, click here. You will meet with your class each week to watch a video lesson and participate in discussion groups that will change how you think about money. Dave explains how money really works in a simple, easy-to-understand style. You'll actually have fun as you learn!

Classes will meet in the Berry Room of the E.J. Nutter Center at Wright State University from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM on Tuesday nights, beginning October 26, 2010 and ending March 15, 2011. (No classes will be held on November 2 or 23, December 7, 21 or 28, February 1, or March 1)
