Mini Races

A new twist in the Savings Race 2nd Edition is the opportunity for you and your family to start your own Savings Race by participating in our Savings Race Mini Races. By completing various budgeting and money-saving tasks over the course of the Savings Race, you’ll not only be making changes that will put you on track to a more secure financial future, but you’ll also earn chances to win one of our monthly prize drawings for up to $1,000!

On Your Mark

The first step to participating in the Mini Races is to download the Savings Race Mini Races Checklist and Entry Form or pick one up at any Wright-Patt Credit Union Member Center. This checklist includes each of the tasks you can complete, earning different point values for each task.

Get Set

If you’re not already a Wright-Patt Credit Union member, you can earn 25 points right out of the starting gate by joining. Simply visit any our 22 convenient Member Centers or call our Member Help Center at (800) 762-0047 to find out how. If you’re already a member, we have already awarded you 25 points. Simply mark it as completed on your checklist and advance to go.

Go

To start your Mini Races, begin completing the tasks and accumulating points. Once you reach 125 points, you are eligible to turn in your checklist and signed entry form, along with the required proof, to any Wright-Patt Credit Union Member Center or mail it to the address listed on the checklist before May 31, 2010 for a chance to win $500.

Double Your Money

But don’t be too quick to turn in your checklist just because you have reached 125 points. Hang on to it and continuing completing all the tasks. Not only will you learn more and develop better saving and spending habits, you’ll also be positioning yourself to double your prize money to $1,000 if you are a lucky winner.

Increase Your Chances to Win

You'll earn 15 points on your checklist for referring one new member to Wright-Patt Credit Union when they list your name on a Mini Races Invitation to Membership referral form. But the rewards don’t stop there. For each additional new member you refer, you’ll earn one entry into the monthly prize drawings. Not only will you be sharing the value of credit union membership, you’ll also be increasing your chances to win!
